Always

Today's project is from ARTisan Dina Kowal.

I love this "There For You" digital image by Mo Manning especially because it's one that I requested. I'm drawn to huggy images, but sometimes a happy, cheerful hug image isn't appropriate for someone going through a hard time. I wanted one that expressed support and sympathy. Sooooo grateful to Mo for coming up with this image - it's perfect.

I printed the image in a very pale grey, and colored it using Touch Twin Markers. These are the colors I used:

All stamps and dies are from Impression Obsession, and I used a Sizzix texture plate to 'interpret' the squiggly layer of the sketch. Ha! Stamped in Memento Pear Tart and colored with Touch Twin Markers (GY173, GY175, Y42).

Just Swingin'

Today's project is from ARTisan Dina Kowal.

I printed out a digital image from Mo's Digital Pencil and colored in broad color blocks, as Sandy explains in her video. The colored and white areas (except for the face) were shaded with cool greys, and the background was colored in with blue greys. I think this may have been the first time I colored anything Fluorescent Green...

I borrowed the sketch from this month's challenge over at The Craft's Meow, and I'm also entering Oozak's monthly challenge, since my card has a Christmas theme! So much inspiration everywhere.
